Why we exist

The patients
did not go
anywhere.

Over the past years, several international pharmaceutical companies have changed their operating model in Nigeria. The reasons were commercial rather than clinical: currency, cost and complexity. The patients did not go anywhere. Neither did the hospitals, the specialist centres or the pharmacies that serve them. AfrikNexus Healthcare was formed to hold that ground.

We are building a new model for specialty pharmaceutical access, bringing trusted therapies closer to patients through strategic partnerships, targeted commercialisation and a commitment to treatment continuity.

The thinking behind AfrikNexus ↗

Routes to care

From product access
to the point of care.

Our interest is in products that are not yet reliably and readily available locally. Access, in practice, means a medicine reaching the person who needs it at a standard that does not vary by geography.
